Conclusion
Twenty-six years ago, when we first became aware of the tragedy of
millions of unwanted pets and animal cruelty, I saw old people give their
entire lives for animals in need, only to neglect their families and/or being
abandoned by them. After years of struggle they finally died alone in poverty,
along with their animals that they once rescued. Nothing has changed since.
There are still many people that are doing the same today. The difference is
that they are declared to be mentally ill and in need of help.
Animals are taken in large numbers to Southern States. When this service
was offered to us, we asked them what was going to happen to them. The
answer was that Georgia and Louisiana were "dog poor" and did not have a
pet overpopulation problem, that the animals would be tested for behavior,
temperament and breed and only a small percentage would qualify for adoption.
SO...what are we saying, that once abandoned, hungry, abused and scared
animals are being euthanized by the thousands, after they are shipped across
the country, so that we can continue to breed more animals, to continue a
non-taxed business tha
causes so much suffering
and pain not only to animals,
but people as well?
There is something wrong
with this picture!
Somewhere in time, befor
the Second World War,
innocent people wer
relocated and kille
because they were of
different race than those
that committed the crime.
Our country is made up of many Nationalities but even here we committed
crimes, crimes that used humans from different cultures to profit financially,
even went as far as to abuse and kill them. So, is it not time to stop using
innocent lives to gain personal profit, even if they are only animals that have the
same wish as we have and the right to live in peace? Ecclesiastes 3:18-22
Jesus died for Human Beings!
How many old, caring senior citizens have to die for suffering animals,
before we quit breeding for profit or just for the hell of it?
From the bottom of our Hearts!
We thank all those that mailed donations, letters and cards. We thank the
Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinics for the work they did to spay and neuter
Catherine Titus's dogs. We thank our members for services freely given to
animals in need. We thank all our Veterinarians for their services rendered
and for understanding our needs as rescuers. We thank everyone who
believes that God's creatures have the right to live and to breathe as we do!
We thank God for all creatures, great and small and for blessing all of us
and to give us Peace! Ecclesiastes 3:18-22
